Say every paycheck i get, about $650 is taken out for federal taxes. Out of this $650, how much goes to military spending?

I don't know, but I'm in the military and I pay taxes, so I'm essentially paying for my own salary.

How fucked up is that.

Not at all to be honest. You still use all the same services as other taxpayers.

The U.S annuel defense budget excluding secret services is about $427 billion. I'm not sure what percentage of total tax money that is though. Whatever you pay won't make much difference. Don't you get a breakdown?
