Yeah. Maybe I was being a bit too generous at 2:30 in the morning last night, but not too much: I really, really like it, and I think it's their best record. If it doesn't crack my top ten, it'll definitely be in my top twenty.

Well, it makes my top 10. I never even downloaded an mp3 before I bought it, I just took the risk and got it, and DAMN am I thankful. The two songs on the bonus disc are very good too.

yeah, i do think it's their best album, but i'm pretty sure there are at least 20 albums i'd put above it from this year. i'm pretty biased against rock music lately though.

:) You guys are too into your end of the year lists so I want to retract my statement and say that One Beat is an excellent rock record, one that I would recommend to my worst enemy. Your lists are always kinda limited by what you can't check out in a year anyway, even though I know you guys are downloading machines.
