i just listened to her album for the first time and it really didn't do it for me.
too generic rock perhaps? it might be cool to see live, but i can't see myself wanting to buy this or listen to it much more.

Wake Up - Rage Against The Machine
Kashmir - Led Zeppeling
Sober - Tool

that riff = generic rock song

It has its moments but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Sort of boring.

she'll do fine whatever her music sounds like, she's just a very lucky person to be beautiful as she is and have such a natural charm...she may well be the julia roberts of rock if you know what i mean. she's got that "girlfriend-you-can't-have" mystique...it's why we all love her!

i'd say about half the album is pretty good, the other half of songs could have been substituted with some of her other songs that weren't on the album that are much much better, namely "good news".

If the album is good or bad, she should take solace in the fact that I'd tap that either way :cool:

on a side note, i was so in my way to the record store, , there was this bum on the street, and i turned my window down, to tell him to get a job, and well then my window wouldnt go backup , it appear something broke inside, so it was raining real bad, and had to cover the window with my jacket so my g.f wouldnt get wet (it was the passenger seat window), then ii couldnt go to the mall like that, so no cd buying, but hey at least i saved a pussy cat, the car part sucked, but cat part was cool, so maybe i will pick up melissa's cd on thursday (gotta get my car fixed tomorrow, the window thing, since i work on thursday)
