something that sounds a little electronica/futuristic? ....like something you'd hear in an NES game but perhaps with a few guitars over it or something...?

and there's that song that was in the movie 28 days later. i can't remember the name of it but it starts with a nintendo-ey line then the band comes in over top. some good stuff it is.

For experimental/ambient music Future sound of london, mostly ISDN or Dead Cities. For even older stuff, Lifeforms is also a masterpiece, but much more organic. ISDN is the least acessible, but maybe their finest.
