i just saw a film called Subway by Luc Besson. it was fun and pretty cool, but half the time it made no sense. anyone seen this?

BUT, there was one definate highlight. Jean Reno's drum solo when his "band" plays near the end is just mindblowing, and he actually plays it himself. Jimmy C would be like whoa, no joke.

I fancy that movie Subway.

Eraserhead is weird as fuck, the Lynch movies are all weird but it's the weirdest. The Lady In The Radiator Song (In heaven everything is fine) that the Pixies play is from that movie.

Natural Born Killers is a pretty weird movie.

So is Waking Life with regard to traditional movies.

kinda unrelated, seeing as to how its not really defined as weird. but i saw Lost in Translation (you know, the one with bill murray where he goes to Japan?)...

...it was a very good avant garde flick. very simple plot yet ethereal and atmospheric. probably the best movie i've seen in a long time. RECOMMENDED

edit: gummo is weird btw

A few that stand out, but are all overhyped:

Storytelling
Gummo
Happiness
Welcome to the Doll's House
Water Dances on Burning Rocks (I think that was the name ... )
