Does anyone know where i can find a listing of the 140 bands?
Charles Attal in an interview said he couldn't release the list until late May but I'm sure it's leaked somewhere. I've searched to no avail. How am I supposed to make up my mind about shelling out 70 bucks if I don't know who the 140 acts are?
I know the Pixies are playing and that makes me want to definitely buy my ticket but I'd like to know who else is playing first.

It hasn't been released at all. Willie will play, and Lyle Lovett. Rumor has Beck as well.

Uh, not so much. There will be more country acts that anything. And quite a few Mexican bands.

I'm talking about that indie sound, not labels. I think we both know what I mean. I guess I should just stop reading the music board because you guys mostly talk about the same 30 or so bands and I seem to hate most of them.

Woohoo. I just ordered my ticket. I just got a check for my security deposit for my Austin apartment and it was for $82 bucks. This ticket cost $83 so I only had to pay an extra buck. Now I get to see the Pixies. :banoonoo:
I've never seen the Lips or Sonic Youth either. :O
This could be Texas's version of Coachella. Awesome.

You didn't see Sonic Youth the week of SXSW?!?

That was a different ticket apart from SXSW. I had to close the store by myself because all my co workers, including Best Looking Boy, went to the show.
I also would have felt like a poser if I would have gone. I'm only really familiar with Daydream Nation and Murray Street. I still need to hear so much SY stuff.
