he actually came across some legitimate recording deals in the late sixties, but he blew it by continously threatening/freaking out the producers...go figure

ive heard some of it too and all i heard sucked...which is not suprising, thats why history sometimes discribes him as a failed musician, which he was...its kinda cool for the creepyness factor tho
