He's only heard "Where is my Mind?"

Here Comes Your Man
Waves of Mutilation
Gigantic
Bone Machine
Tony's Theme??

suggestions?

(his tastes are pretty mainstream, I don;t wanna stick anything out of left field on it.)

Just play him/her Doolittle. If they're not won over, give up.

I agree. Either that, or give him surfer rosa/doolittle. I think they would both fit on a CD.

PS: good job starting with where is my mind :)

WHY DONT YOU HAVE YOURE FRIEND TAKE A TIME MACHINE BACK TO 1989 AND HAVE HIM DATE KIM DEAL AND THEN HE CAN REALLY FIND OUT WHAT THEY WERE LIKE AND SHE WOULD GET DRUNK AND FORGET WHERE HER CAR KEYS ARE BUT CHARELS THOMPSON TOOK THEM AWAY BECAUSE KIM DEAL IS ALWAYS DRUNK AND SHE WANTS TO PLAY THE BASS BUTITS' TOO HARD FOR HER TO STAND UP AND THEN SHE WANTS TO DO IT IN THE BATHROOM BUT THERES ALREADY TOO MUCH PUKE ON THE FLOOR AND THEN YOUR FR4IEND MIGHT UNDERSTAND MORE ABOUT THE PIXES AND HOW THEY GOT WHERE THEY ARE.

the funniest thing with the fight club soundtrack is ... the summer before Fight Club came out in theatres, me and a couple of friends decided to play 'where is my mind' at our school's end of year 'hillstock' festival ;) I was playing the rhythm guitar part, and if i can find the recording, i think it still sounded pretty cool for a bunch of kids. anyway, so we played that...and i was like, yay, pixies are cool, i got Surfer Rosa and Doolittle that summer, and when I went to see Fight Club, and heard the song playing at the end, i was like....WHOA....
