they've been listening to a lot of no wave. there's a lot of saxophone and chaos, and plenty of dissonant grooving. pretty awesome, but i think it will piss off people who liked their first album for the rock.

EDIT: Got it. After one listen, I like Cough more than their self-titled. A lot of people who liked the new Liars album will be into this, I think.
