Pudge 04-30-2004, 12:31 PM And pay more attention to this loser why? Salena Child 04-30-2004, 01:01 PM what a shame :( sawdust restaurants 05-01-2004, 02:10 PM Originally posted by jczeroman Edwards was the man... how i'll miss him. Maybe he'll run again. He will. Assuming GWB wins this year, it'll be fun to watch Edwards trounce Hillary in the primaries in 2008 and then trounce Jeb/Condi/Bill Frist/someone else in the general election. Future Boy 05-01-2004, 04:08 PM Unless he's picked as the VP, and gets some good exposure, I'm not sure how that would happen. If it was that easy he woulda done it this time. jczeroman 05-01-2004, 04:29 PM Originally posted by sawdust restaurants He will. Edwards did rather well this time around, especially considering the challenges he faced that the other candidates didn't: 1) name recognition, 2) experience. Next time around, he won't have to face the name recognition battle. And if he is up against Hillary, experience won't be such an issue. He will most definitely run for president again. Oops, I think I came off as saying that he stood no chance, thats not how I meant it. I simply think it would really help him to get picked, hes a great speaker and could help Kerry and his lack of charisma. Your right on the Hillary thing, no experience wouldnt really be held against him, well not for the dem nomination at least. Edwards getting picked as VP would be helpful for his political career. And Edwards would definitely bring a lot to the Kerry campaign. |
