Every time someone brings up the failure of the administration to stop two plans from flying into the leading visual icon of the U.S., you claim Clinton was at fault more than Bush.

It was Bush's watch, not Clinton's. Clinton had repeatedly ordered al Quada and bin Laden killed. The CIA, the neanderthals they are, fucked that up as well. Bush all but ignored the memo saying we would be attacked, ignored his own advisors begging for more involvement on security and ignored the fact he has a duty to do everything in his goddamn power to stop such an attack.

Guess what; he didn't do everything in his power. As a result, America is pushed back 60 years int he world's eyes and we have no clue who are our friends and who are our enemies, aside from Great Britain and Israel ... and I wouldn't say Israel is a good ally to be helping.

Good reasons are subjective, your second point about killing soldiers and civillians is moot because that's what "war" is, and as for Afghanistan, no I wouldn't abandon it.

Has Afghanistan been abandoned? There are still an awful lot of soldiers over there. I think the media have abandonded it.

How much of that $40 million was going to rebuilding Afghanistan and how much of it was going to Iraq? Special Forces are in Afghanistan, but they're mainly there to hunt down Bin Laden. All the "peace keeping" forces are in Iraq.

i'd care more about him lying if it were for something pertaining to national policy issues, or war, or drunk driving, or cocaine use, or weapons trades, etc.

w gets mentioned because many people feel there are big truth gaps in most of what he says and what he refuses to say, and saying clinton lied about lying about sex doesn't prove anything about his dealings with the country, yet people act as though that lie proves that w has never lied about anything because he didn't have an affair or lie about an affair.
