do you ever feel like kind of a dork reaching over for the fucscia-colored boisenberry syrup at IHOP? shamefully drenching your pancakes in an unholy orgy of syrup, red #5 and butter. it's a sickly sweet moment where all that matters is the deep, tearjerking understanding between you and your pancakes. prince is kind of like that. it's fluffy and bittersweet and a little embarrassing, but fuck if I don't love every bit of it.
