Is fucking amazing.

I like:

Costanza Francavilla :
Dear God
Hope you got the message, and
I pray you can make it better down here
I don't mean a big reduction in the price of beer
But all the people that you made in your image
See them starving on their feet
'Cause they don't get enough to eat
From God, I can't believe in you
I can't believe in you

Dear God
Sorry to disturb you, but
I feel that I should be heard loud and clear
We all need a big reduction in amount of tears
And all the people that you made in your image
See them fighting in the street
'Cause they can't make opinions meet about God
I can't believe in you
I can't believe

Did you make disease
I can't believe
And the diamond blue?
I don't believe
Did you make mankind after we made you?
I can't believe
And the devil too
I don't believe
I can't believe

Dear God
Don't know if you noticed, but
Your name is on a lot of quotes in this book
And us crazy humans wrote it, you should take a look
And all the people that you made in your image still believing that junk exist
Well I know it ain't, and so do you
Dear God
I can't believe in
I don't believe in
I don't believe

I won't believe in heaven and hell
No saints, no sinners, no devil as well
No pearly gates, no thorny crown
You're always letting us humans down
The wars you bring, the babes you drown
Those lost at sea and never found
And it's the same the whole world 'round
The hurt I see helps to compound
That Father, Son and Holy Ghost
Is just somebody's unholy hoax
And if you're up there you'd perceive
That my heart's here upon my sleeve
If there's one thing I don't believe in

It's you

His voice is really hot for a black guy.

I really like the song Karma Coma.

Concerning Tricky, I'd advise you all to just stick with Maxinquaye and Pre Millennium Tension. It goes pretty much down the shitter after that.

I have Maxinquaye and Vulnerable only.

I actually prefer Vulnerable over Maxinquaye, so far.

Songs that stand out for me so far, from both albums:

Dear God
Car Crash
How High
Stay
Hell is just around the corner
Black Steel

Off the top of my head.

But wow

I actually decided to give him a try when I saw the MP3s on a friends computer, and remember Maynard saying something about his stuff being quite nice.

And Im glad I did.

np: Tricky feat. Ed Kowalczyk - Evolution Revolution Love

Evolution Revolution Love

Tricky:
Now that you got it right
Bring love and it'll make it alright
Bring love and we'll take it tonite
Now that you got it right

Who wants the sinner
Coming round for dinner
Who needs effects
Who needs to pay for sex
When they drop the bomb?
Who will stay calm
Blood would spill
Who would you kill?

Ed Kowalczyk :
Now that I understand this right
Let me take it to the mike
This revolution
(Has just begun)
Has just begun

Now that I understand this right
Let me take it to the mike
This revolution
Has just begun

Hawkman :
Walking down the street with my little rude gun
Top of my gun pocket for fun
Block on my tongue
Top of my earth
Tip of my birth
Top of my earth
Tip of my breast
Top of my chest
Tip of my guess
I've got the singles
I got the jingles
Bet you eat pringles with chris kringles
Walking on the road with my little rude gun

Ed Kowalczyk :
Now that I understand this right
Let me take it to the mike
This revolution
(Has just begun)
Has just begun

Now that I understand this right
Let me take it to the mike
This revolution
Has just begun

Tricky :
Stepping on the street with my little rude girl
Tip of my toes
Top of my world
Top of my earth
Top of my rock
Tip of my block
Now that you got it right
Bring love and I'll make it alright
bring love and we'll take it tonite
now that you got it right

Ed Kowalczyk :
Now that I understand this right
Let me take it to the mike
This revolution
(Has just begun)
Has just begun

Hawkman :
She was born in the ghetto
outside the bronx
in a project blocks
where time stands still
it don't tick it don't tock
Top of my sun
Keep all my love
Top of my chest
Tip of my breast
Top of my earth
Walking on the road
With my soul in my hand
Tip on my toes
Top of my span

Ed Kowalczyk :
Now that I understand this right
Let me take it to the mike
This revolution
(Revolution has just begun)
Has just begun

Now that I understand this right
Let me take it to the mike
This revolution
Has just begun
Just begun
Just begun

Ed Kowalczyk :
Now that I understand this right
Let me take it to the mind
This revolution
(Has just begun)
Has just begun

Now that I understand this right
Let me take it to the mike
This revolution
(Has just begun)
Has just begun
Now that you've got it right

You are obviously a moron.

On a side note, Tricky was awesome live. Hawkman and that chick he had sing with him on the Tool tour was great. Sadly enough he never came around besides that tour... :(

Oh yeah, Karma Coma isn't Tricky, thats Massive Attack. Blue Lines has some great Tricky stuff on it.

ok here's the deal with tricky.
anything he does with massive attack is fucking gold.
maxinquaye is fucking awesome.
i'm not much of a fan past there, except for a few songs on Pre...blah.
i do like juxtapostion, if that's the one with DJ muggs. i always get that one and the other one confused.
i like about half of blowback.
vulnerable was really disappointing.
the end.
