They did this consumer report on Street Cents and put them through all kinds of crazy abuse. Maybe you can download the segment off the CBC site.

Obviously, a few won't be perfectly manufactured.

I LOVE STREET CENTS

sometimes they'll last forever, sometimes they're just flawed.

i've had them last for years. i chuck them up onto portages, and smoke them off rocks. i've even bowled with them as the pins. but every once and a while you get one that is just not the same as the others.
