you have it good.

I'm 5'9''... 155lbs. I think I look like a fatass. I should lose 15 more pounds. :)

Yesterday, apart from breakfast and lunch and all kinds of candy, I had a huge portion of chili con carne, later that night some fries, later on a bag of crisps and a half.

Tonight, it was just a large portion of fries, 2 or 3 Snickers bars, and i'm just finishing my second bag of crisps. Just so you know.

Toby

I think my ideal weight would be 150. So I need to lose about 25 pounds :(

listen to catalina, she always gives good advice. while you're walking home from work, try a little jogging too? just get your body used to rigorous exercise. do jumping jacks in your room. shake your legs when you're sitting down. just move around a lot. stop eating fast food.

no more tips short of an eating disorder, sorry.

mewl is right...start cooking at home.
stop fast food..only for emergencies.

whenever i eat fastfood it feels like my stomach gets kicked over and over. i can't deal with it anymore, i'm so used to eating fresh homemade food

Here ya go...

http://mybodycomp.com

Body fat is superior to weight. A bodybuilder who is 6'0'' and weighs 210lbs with a 9% bodyfat is leaner than a guy who is 6'0'' and 210lbs with a 20% bodyfat.

That site lets you measure your bodyfat... to see abs, you have to go under 10% but I doubt you want that much so a healthy measurement is under 15%.

join this forum...these people are cool. (http://forums.menshealth.com/forum.jsp?forum=5)

i exercized for about two months, but i haven't really done it in over a year. mostly i just limited my portion sizes by a shitload and ate only when i was hungry. i recently dropped like fifteen pounds by throwing up and walking, but that was stupid.

I lost 55lbs within the last 6 months... I didn't even throw up once too.

I just walked like a mofo every night and when I hit a plateau, I ate shit for a week with no exercise, gained a pound or two from it and then exercised for a week and lost five pounds and I was good from there.

learn to love vegitables and fruit! dance to music when no one is looking! brush your teeth after meals to get the food taste out of your mouth so you won't have so many cravings (dr. phil).

i've lost 40ish in the past 6 months.. it's all about working out more and eating a bit less.. though, of course, the more you work out and the less you eat, the faster the weight will come off...

excluding fasting compleatly.. then you'll just make your body cry.

there are SO many debates about this!! there's a theory that you have the genes to inherit the disorder but the situation/stress has to present itself for the disorder to manifest itself and that's the one that i believe.
usually eating disorders are a form of control exerted over the body, and not really about weight. sure there's an image in the media that you can blame, but with the right conditions it's so easily avoided.
so basically, yeah.

yes. good start. you can eat really yummy things that won't make you larger, too. (GUMMY BEARS!) try vegetarian food. just experiment and find what works for you. don't fall into any of those stupid diets, though. go to http://www.food.com and look for recipes you like. some are really easy and are much healthier alternatives to fast food and tv dinners and stuff. plus chicks dig a guy who can cook :D

he's had the CRAZIEST weight challenge going on FO' EVAH. seriously hit up www.drphil.com and get those tips! the people he counseled on the show lost like 55 pounds and up in 3 weeks i think. I THINK!!!
anyway, you have to do this for YOU so YOU will feel better. don't let anyone else pressure you into this, and don't feel like you're not good enough unless you lose the weight. plenty of those feelings are the start of some serious disorders.

i remember that from psych class...about the trait being dormant until whatever wakes it up. my professor used alcoholism as the example.

i'm such a freak...i don't even remember how i got into the whole ed thing. i was so young when i started fasting and purging. i wish i could remember. i wish my mother would have talked to me about it so i could have been educated about the subject. i know my self-esteem was shit when i was young, and i wasn't really overweight when i was that young, either...so maybe it was a control issue. like cutting. HAAAAAAAAA! this topic is insane.

am i still typing?
