View Full Version : WTF? No more Howard Stern!?!?
Subsequent Zero 04-01-2004, 08:18 AM Ok, I just woke up and instead of Howard all I heard was crappy radio songs.
So half asleep, I thought maybe I was on the wrong station, and figured I'd listen a bit to see which station I was in so I could change it.
Then the radio announcers said: "Most people are waking up right now, we found out last night: Howard Stern has been taken off the air. Here is a message from XRK General Manager Tom Chiasano..." And then a message from Tom.
WHAT THE FUCK!?!?
There's some cheesy ass radio show going on now.
I really hope it's an April's Fool joke.
:dammit:

Gotta go back a week or so man, she be's old news. It sucks for people that enjoy him i guess.
Subsequent Zero 04-01-2004, 08:29 AM No, it's still on in Boston.
NICE!!!
Ok, Howard just came back on... It was an April's Fool joke.
That was AWESOME!
They had these two fake DJ's called "Cross and Lopez" doing an extremely cheesy show. As in: "Coffee? Check! Music? Check! Fun without the filth!"
That was scary shit, man.
twilightfadez 04-01-2004, 09:49 AM WELL I HAVE BEEN LIVING WITHOUT HOWARD FOR THE LAST MONTH. SO THERE.

Come visit me in Boston. I have a spare room you can take.
...and a spare radio...
BeautifulLoser 04-01-2004, 10:12 AM Didn't he announce weeks ago that he really was going to to have to shut his show down because of the FCC?
Subsequent Zero 04-01-2004, 10:18 AM Yeah, he keeps saying that, but so far, I think he's just trying to spread the word that the FCC sucks and everyone should pester congress about it.
Pleasure|Contempt 04-01-2004, 11:32 AM His show has no redeeming qualities anyway.

His show has no redeeming qualities anyway. You are so very wrong.
Pleasure|Contempt 04-01-2004, 11:47 AM Is it anything like the TV show he used to have? That was just them filming his radio show right?

the tv show is just bits from the morning show
Pleasure|Contempt 04-01-2004, 12:29 PM Ok.
Well then if the TV show was only the absolute worst parts of his show, then I retract my comment. But if it is in any way indicitive of his show as a whole, then my statements stand.

you have to listen to the whole show. he's a very interesting person and quick to speak. he also works great alonside robin and artie. you really can't judge the show by the bits of tv, cos they usually only show when a guest comes in.
Pleasure|Contempt 04-01-2004, 04:32 PM ouch :)
Thanks for the stars btw.
Logan12 04-01-2004, 04:34 PM he's still on here in memphis!!

no, his tv show is 100% different. I hate missing Howard in the morning, think about it every day on the drive to work but I careless about the show. The show is sort of a made for television clip of the show and it does not portray what the show is about in anyway, except from the stripper/sex portions which are funnier on air when your imagination runs with it. No howard is great, very funny, very intelligent and down to earth.
god I miss that show :( :( :( :(
him and arty ripping on Rush for getting busted with "prescription pain medicine" used to get me hard.
and the april fools joke, sounds great :)
