Is there anyone interested in playing long-distance chess? I mean each of us would have his/her own board at home and we will exchange the positions where do we move the figures by PMs or by mail.

I am not very good player, but I always find amusing those scenes in the movies, where there are some guys playing chess like this, thinking about what does his/her new move means and what he/she plans to do. It could be fun. Heh, whoever is interested, please reply here (the first one is the winner) - to make it attractive, you can pick up the color of figures and therefore if you want to start the game.

Thanks
Jan

So while now at work, you can think about which color you want and as soon as you make it home, let me know and if you pick up white figures, you can send me your first move as well. are you still interested :(?

what? Simpson's chess set?

anyway- alright then, I pick up white figures, then. ATTENTION Cathy, my first move:
1.g1-f3

I'd vote for marking each move with number, so we make sure we don't miss any. Post your move here,PM,email or AIM me.

this is a really cool idea... I've heard of people doing it by snail mail... a game can take up to a year!

Ehm, I hope we manage it in a shorter period than one year ;)

Heh Dave, something tells me you must be an awesome player, so I guess we both are really cheap shots for you. but let's see!
