This prison drama was never shown in Australia and Im thinking of getting the 1st, 2nd and 3rd seasons on DVD as Ive heard alot of positive reviews about it. Has anyone watched the show? Is it graphic? Is it good?

It's amazing. I've been watching it for a long time (from the 2nd season on).

It's great. My mom and stepdad watched it (and taped it) religiously when the new episodes were coming out, but I didn't really "get into it" because I didn't give it a chance. Buuuut, my boyfriend loves the show, and I came over once (in... July? maybe) and he was watching the Season 1 DVD he had just bought-- I was instantly sucked in.

We bought Season 3 a couple days after it came out (the delay was because he forgot when he was in Best Buy. haha), and watched all 8 episodes in about a day and a half.

Amazing.

One of the funniest quotes from Season 3 (not quoted exactly, unfortunately), "Your feet do a little dance." And when/if you see that episode in Season 3, you'll get why it's so funny.

I'm just pissed off that we're going to have to wait so long to get Season 4 on DVD (especially since it's 16 episodes instead of 8). ugh. proably a year or two.

Oz = Fucking Amazing.

I watch / tape it religiously.

winky's don't bother me much. I mean, I have one and once you've seen one, there really isn't much else to them. It's when the men attached to them decide to stuff their winkiy's up other mens anus's that I get turned off... Queer as Folk has turned me off more then a few times (yet I still watch it from time to time... WHAT THE FUCK IS ALL THAT ABOUT!!!:mad: :o ) But it seems from what I've heard, Oz is fantastic watching and it's apparently got my favourite soprano in it - EDIE FALCO!!! YAAY!! :D

Luke Perry has a really small winky.

I laughed at his winky. If he were in the room with me and I saw his winky, he would blush and be embarrassed cause his winky is so small. I would feel compelled to point at it, and shout things loudly like ‘I cant believe it! Is that all there is! Did you have some kind of accident growing up or something??’ while laughing uncontrollably the whole time and Luke Perry would very possibly cry and run out of the room in a distraught mess.

This whole incident could lead to his eventual and inevitable suicide.
