No.
Winter means I can play hockey at 2:00 AM if I want to. So yeah, winter rocks.

That said, i'm usually happy when it gets nice and warm out and I can bike places instead of having to walk.

It's not too terribly bad. What the hell am I saying, yes it is. But I guess you kind of adapt. I'm looking forward to bringing my boyfriend to my lakehouse, swimming in the lake, turning the AC really really cold, bbq'ing, lemonade. ahhhhh I love that.

Or even staying in the city.

The "no school" part is the best bit.

Reading your posts means I am not focusing on your avatar.

Not focusing on your avatar makes it seem like James is performing fellatio.

I am not disturbed by this.

What lake? We have a lakehouse on Lake O' The Pines. I would think the one you have, since it's close to Tyler, would be on either Lake Tyler (Obvious Guy says) or Lake Palestine.

My grandparents and I used to have a membership to silver lake or holly lake... something.. and we could use these little time share-esque condos.. we stayed at Lake O' The Pines once or twice...

But my lakehouse is on Lake Hawkins. It's about 20 miles out of Tyler (on Hwy 80)

...and fountains of wayne popped in my head.

It must be summer
Cause the days are long
And I dial your number
But you're gone, gone, gone
I'd set out searching
But the car won't start
And it must be summer
Cause I'm falling apart
I try your sister
On the Jersey Shore
She said you might be stopping by
But she's just not sure
So I call your mother
On Long Island Sound
She said it must be summer
Cause your never around

And the sun is beating me senseless
I feel defenseless like a dying lamb
I don't want to lie by the oceanside
Don't want to play in the sand
Can't you understand?
Can't you understand?

It must be summer
Cause the streets are bare
And I try your number
But you're just not there
And the sun keeps shining
Til it's dead and gone
And it must be summer
Cause I can't go on

And the sun is beating me senseless
I feel defenseless like a dying lamb
I don't want to lie by the oceanside
Don't want to play in the sand
Can't you understand?
Can't you understand?

Yes, my son. There is nothing quite like going to the cages with your old man and hitting a few balls, or going to the park and playing catch with the sun out and a cool breeze blowing through. A love for baseball will keep you young in the heart and right in your ways.
