what sort of gear is used to get some of the awesome sound on adore? i was contemplating the brilliance of the deep, atmospheric backgrounds in Appels and Oranjes and Daphne Descends etc, i really want to know how they created that. gear posts or explanations very welcome:cool:

Not sure about A+O, but all that 'noise' on Daphne is guitar. Same for all of Machina, something a lot of people misunderstand. I'm pretty sure there isn't a "synth" anywhere in sight on Machina; it's all guitar work, which is pretty impressive.

All I can say is "Blank Page." Awsome synth work. Oh, and Crestfallen.

I really hate Crestfallen's chorus, the demo version sounded much better to me, and "truer".

For the beat machine, probably a 808 would do.

Yes, it's an 808. Listen to Shame...
