I don't know why everybody hates on this song. Still, it seems like they've kind of exhausted their possibilities for singles, so they might as well go with whatever they feel like and give us more shitty b-sides.

Uh. Nice I guess. One of my favorites on the album, but not too many other people seem to like it, so it seems really random. They didn't even play it at their concert I went to.
So, I'll be looking forward to the b-sides, but the ones for this album have been the worst/cheapest they've ever done. But I didn't even think they'd be making another single, as I've never seen a video for 2+2=5 (it doesn't have one?) or heard it on the radio.

actually i looked around and this is a US-only promo cd that came out around November, and it's not going to be released as a commercial single. too bad, i was hoping for more b-sides.
the version is a 3:50 radio edit though, as compared to the 4:57 album version. collectible i guess.

oh really?
shitty. I figured it was the promo version but I thought there would be a regular single version as well, like the other singles.

You should by the My Iron Lung EP if you don't already have that. The only Bends-era single I ever forked out money for was the Street Spirit one with Bishop's Robes and Talk Show Host, both of which are fucking awesome, so I think it's worth the money.

Haven't they grown tired of defacing American flags yet? Why not move on to the Union Jack?

yeah bishops robes and talk show host are great. if you haven't got paranoid android then get it.
not sure why (not an amazing song) but i love polyethelyne.
am also partial to faithless, the wonder boy from the anyone can play guitar single and killer cars from the aus tour edition of anyone... if you can track them down
but i'd deff have to suggest you try and get hold of the tracks of the drill ep. they're great, prob want to find a dowload tho cause the cd is big bucks now. got mine for £50 a few years ago which now sounds like a very good deal.

seeing as how this is a pretty general radiohead thread now:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3700372458&category=38097
This is a unique opportunity
to own the actual drumkit used on Radiohead's OK Computer recording sessions.
I won the drumkit after sponsoring Radiohead's drummer, Phil Selway, to run in the London Marathon to raise money for The Samaritans.
The kit was used on the OK Computer sessions, and can be heard on the songs "Paranoid Android" and "Exit Music (For A Film)" among others,
The drumkit in question, is a cherry red Premier XPK, 5 piece kit, with Zildjian Custom A series ride & Hi-hat cymbals, and Zildjian K series crash cymbal. It is complete with all hardware & stool, but is only partially cased. The drum heads have not been replaced, and are "Studio used", and the rest of the kit, whilst in very good condition, can clearly be seen to have been used. The 14" tom is signed "All the best Radiohead" and signed by each member of the band, and has the word "BANG' in the middle of the skin.
If you go to the link below, it will take you to the page declaring who won the draw:
http://www.waste.uk.com/SponsorPhil/index.html
I have several emails from W.A.S.T.E., who are Radiohead's merchandise company and who handled the draw. I can also send high resolution photos if required.
Due to the very heavy nature of the items, postage is likely to be expensive, so it may be adviseable for the buyer to collect.
Buyer must pay all shipping costs if not collecting.
If the reserve price is met, I will donate 10% of the total to The Samaritans. If the bid was to achieve double the reserve or higher, I will donate a minimum of 20% to The Samaritans. Please do not bid unless these terms are acceptable. Thank you for your understanding.

There's no way this thing is worth 50 pounds. Or 5, for that matter. It sucks

Itch sucks too, but it does have Radiohead's first song i think is any good, "Faithless the Wonder Boy."

Yeah, I agree entirely. It's pretty awesome what with the skronking guitar.
