I just realised how great the song is, man the sd era truly was the best era.

But my question was: what effect do they use, for the last part? You the wanky solo.

lots of phasing and chorus, and a wah pedal controlling the sweep, with tons of feedback and stuff. some parts are using an eventide harmonizer.

I am insulted that you think I didn't check that, but it says nothing about what they use for the solo

you guys should check out starla live from '93 when they toured with this guy named "Eric" - he made the song extra special. Words cannot describe how amazing the song sounds.

It's 92-era, which is in a category of it's own. :)
I love the transitional Gish/SD sound.

Epic Pumpkins songs with long outro guitar solos like Starla, Porcelina, and the live version of Ruby kick ass. :D
