So has anyone heard the new Xiu Xiu, what do you think of it?

I've only gave it a few listens but I like it better than A Promise already. But I've always liked Knife Play the most so that may explain it.

it's got a few great tracks but the rest is eh. Support Our Troops is godawful. how can anyone laud that shit? both Pitchfork and the guy that reviewed it for our station gave it props for being a scathing military criticism, which it isn't, it's just whining. did music writers all get beat up in high school too or something? yeah, and most of the lyrics are awful. if they would have exercised some quality control and combined A Promise and Fabulous Muscles it would have been a great album, but as the two are they're just good ones overall.
