For some reason, mine is Afterglow by Dot Allison. She has such a soothing voice - it makes me feel better when I am sick. This album creates its own little world, and it is nice to just focus on that. I have no idea how it got started, but that's the CD I pop in when I am ill. The healing power of music - it's a wonderful thing. :)

A weird mix of styles like trip-hop and country music. Pretty mellow stuff with some gorgeous moments. It is all about her voice and the spacey atmosphere. She recently put out a more "electro" 80's kind of album, but I have not heard that one.

i'm always on a terrible Discovery Channel / National geographic kick when I'm ill. Steve Irwin is my hero while normally I never watch his program.
