I'm sure free speech is going to come up at some point, but really it's the SS job to look out for these things, and it's only an interview. It's most likely taking him way to seriously, but it wouldn't be the first time. Eminem will bitch, life will go on. I don't see this being any bigger than that.

Rumor has it that Michael Muir of Suicidal Tendencies was "investigated" because of the classic anti-Reagan anthem, "I Shot Reagan", also known as "I Shot The Devil." There is no such thing as COMPLETE, free speech.

hard to seperate Matt Drudge from the story...i see a guy who got a lead and went with it on his website.

Secret Service has already downplayed the issue by saying its not an investigation, which prolly has something to do with not giving him any more ammo.

Eminem now has more to work from should he choose to play it up.

or maybe with the rap world the way it is, the secret service didnt want to be its next target. hah.

S.T. owns a tattoo parlor named, bizarrely enough, S.T. Tattoos near Venice. Go pop in sometime and ask him.

Drudge definitely practices the fine art of Yellow Journalism, and many of his stories have been proven false, but I can definitely see the SS doing this.

Tim Quirk of Too Much Joy was questioned by the feds after a show in which he said that he voted for Clinton in '92 but he felt that Clinton had backed out of his promises and should die. Chelsea Clinton and/or the Gore girls were backstage:D

I really should do that sometime. I wish S.T. would quit touring Europe and PLAY IN THE U.S. AGAIN!
