As far as I'm concerned, there are only 5 videos that have ever been made in the history of music:

1. A live band performance
2. Some weird, artsy crap, like the Tool videos
3. A cartoon, usually drawn by some fuck-stick like todd 'nobody cares about me anymore' mcfarlane
4. A concept video, which is basically 'oh, look how hot the vocalist is'.
5. A combination of 1 & 4

Congratulations. You've basically 'summarised' the music video genre into either animation, something with plot, a live performance video or something that is artistically embellished. What else do you really think there is to do?
