Billy's reaction : "french humour" Ugly 09-25-2003, 02:18 PM Originally posted by PhantomFM but i did get to play with him so maybe that's not fair. what'd you play? Hide the Salami or Cherub Rock? Nice one! wounded 09-25-2003, 03:38 PM if i met him i wouldn't ask him for anything, maybe say hi, shake hands, but that is it. i would never ask anyone for an autograph. i don't see the point in them sarasvati 09-25-2003, 04:22 PM I talked to him very briefly after the zwan show in toronto in march...I shook his hand...didn't ask for any pictures or autographs because I already have a few autographs and he seemed to be in a hurry. The Pantsmaster 09-25-2003, 04:36 PM I met Billy and Jimmy the night before a signing in Boston and did not ask for anything because I was getting their autographs the next day. If I did have a camera, however, I would have asked for a picture with them. jczeroman 09-25-2003, 04:38 PM I've met him twice and never asked for anything. Dead 09-25-2003, 04:40 PM I have never met him, but he walked past me at the back door of Glass House and I felt excited like a girl. I felt stupid afterwards. Reyngel 09-25-2003, 04:42 PM I met Billy at the San Diego signing and got my Adore booklet signed, shook his hand, but that doesn't count. But I also met him before the Seattle Zwan show. Didn't ask him for anything. chsllama 09-25-2003, 04:45 PM Originally posted by Dead I felt excited like a girl. I felt stupid afterwards. heh... oh how the mighty have fallen. Irrelevant 09-25-2003, 05:26 PM let's see. i went to about 4 aftershows and a soundcheck and was around him quite a bit and never asked for an autograph or a picture. bonsor 09-25-2003, 06:17 PM at the autograph signing, he just took my poster and signed it. i didn't really ask for it. i acted like a fucking idiot though. i get starstruck way too easily by him. Injektilo 09-25-2003, 06:23 PM I met him at the Metro aftershow party, and I just asked to shake his hand. I like that better than a autograph actually. alisonmonster 09-25-2003, 06:30 PM if i ever did get to meet him all i would want to say is , "thanks for the great music. it really does mean a lot to me." that's all i'd really want to do. Shake his hand or somthing. chsllama 09-25-2003, 06:35 PM Originally posted by alisonmonster "thanks for the great music. it really does mean a lot to me." great? eh that's a bit much. It's VG, but great.... eh i dont think so maybe i need to listen to more sp, and a lot less zwan. np: Ludwig Van Beethoven - Piano Sonata #14 'Moonlight' 2nd Movement alisonmonster 09-25-2003, 06:42 PM Originally posted by chsllama great? eh that's a bit much. I studied classical piano for 10 (horrendous) years. I know Beethoven  chsllama 09-25-2003, 07:48 PM i'm all about choral liturgical stuff... loving rachmaninov atm :) lawson 09-25-2003, 11:57 PM Originally posted by chsllama np: Ludwig Van Beethoven - Piano Sonata #14 'Moonlight' 2nd Movement 2nd movement? why bother. next time just skip to the third. god that third movement rocks (and yes, i can play it :D ) lawson 09-25-2003, 11:58 PM Originally posted by Ugly what'd you play? You know, all stalker like and stuff. OnTopicMan 09-26-2003, 05:24 AM I asked Billy for his lunch money. mono 09-26-2003, 03:27 PM Originally posted by PhantomFM in fact if a star denied someone a picture i'd be the first to call them sucky Then you can legitimately call Billy Corgan sucky. He denied a picture request with me. :( siamesegod 09-26-2003, 03:29 PM Originally posted by mono Then you can legitimately call Billy Corgan sucky. (yes...insert pun here...as it was intended) Actually, at the Charlotte, NC in-store signing during the Machina era, one of my friends asked Billy if she could rub his Buddha head, and he said yeah. I thought that was a pretty lame thing to ask, but how was I to stop her? oui henri 10-24-2003, 11:54 AM when i met him in Toronto i was holding my camera but i was way too starstruck to do anything with it and he asked me if i wanted to take his picture. :) vanilla 10-24-2003, 12:49 PM well the first time i met him was at the minneapolis signing in 2000, so i got his authograph. but the other time i met him i just said hello and shook his hand. :) Ugly 10-24-2003, 01:17 PM Originally posted by PhantomFM 1979, the ashley song (improv) and happy birthday to my then girlfriend, jenny4ever yo, yo, yo, yo: I've ALWAYS wondered this since I heard that show. Far be it from me to complain cuz you got to play guitar with the Corgan -- but why'd you pick 1979? Dude, everybody was cheering for Rhino the whole show! I dunno, you're the lucky one and cheers to you. But I'm just saying if I was in that position I woulda busted out some Rhino and maybe a little Mayonaise or somethin' somethin'. RuseOfFools 10-24-2003, 02:28 PM Hopefully he'll buy me IHOP pancakes again. zerozwan 10-24-2003, 02:53 PM i hate meeting billy after a concert. every time (four i think) i've met him, has been after a show. "great show tonight, billy." is all i can ever say. how lame. i'd like to meet him somewhere where a real conversation would have to take place. anything else is just lame. you walk up, shake his hand, get a picture, say thank you, and the next person walks up and does the same. that's why it sucks that zwan broke up because matt and david were so cool to talk to and hang out with. they'd be more eager to have a beer with you and chill out than to make you remember that they're famous. Electro 10-24-2003, 03:20 PM hey billy, you look a lot better than what you did last night through my binoculars, car window, and your hotel window. can i please have an autograph and drop of blood? im_your_zero 10-26-2003, 02:36 PM Originally posted by OnTopicMan I asked Billy for his lunch money.
