oh, and did anyone know that hole officially broke up like, last year or something?


i dont like when bands who used to be newsworthy break up without a headline anywhere in sight.

I heard about Everclear a couple weeks ago, only by accident. I just assumed Hole broke up after their last tour but I think they officially broke up when Courtney Love was involved in all those lawsuits. I think her solo album is supposed to come out relatively soon but I'm not sure if it has a date yet.

Damn, I didn't even know they covered that. The last thing I heard was that minivan driving soccer mom song. I'm not sure of the actual title, I only heard it about three times.

I heard it on the radio, I think one time.

I don't listen to the radio anymore.

Their last few albums were atrocious. I liked World of Noise in middle school, though I haven't listened to it in years.

Santa Monica.

I loved the album <i>Sparkle and Fade</i>. That's about it.

They had several big hits: Father of Mine, Heartspark Dollarsign, etc. (etc. as in they all sucked and I don't know the names).

And the filler on Sparkle and Fade is actually decent work.

Santa Monica, Heroin Girl, Everything To Everyone, I Will Buy You A New Life, Father Of Mine, Wonderful, and Slide were all big hits.

Not that I like them, just saying.

man, everclear was on conan not long ago. it was the worst performance by any band ever. fucking awful as hell. i've seen everclear live on other tv shows and they sounded similar to their albums and wasn't to bad but this was just terrible. i can see why the broke up.

The two albums after SMFTA seemed really contrived and fake...although I must say I heard a bit of Slowmotion Daydream(the last album) and it ...well, this isn't saying much, but it didn't suck as much as the two prior.

That said, If he hadn't produced most of EC's work, I'd be totally convinced that Art Alexakis has never EQed anything in his life. worst guitar tones ever. That is all.
