I still wish they had released something other then Honestly, but whatever. Christina, you shoulda gone for the scalped ticket on Thursday. That concert was incredible. cap'n jazz 09-15-2003, 10:34 AM lolol Johnny_Swallow 09-15-2003, 10:42 AM Zwan is the Blind Faith of the new millenium. Too bad though, it's not like they'll do anything we'll see within 2 years anyway. In a choice between Zwan and nothing, I'll take Zwan. cap'n jazz 09-15-2003, 10:44 AM Maybe some day he'll do the SP last show DVD. zoodboog 09-15-2003, 11:06 AM THANKS FOR RELEASING STUDIO VERSIONS OF RIVERVIEW AND SPILLED MILK  bonsor 09-15-2003, 11:15 AM Originally posted by cap'n jazz Maybe some day he'll do the SP last show DVD. 2006 if i was billy i would have gone for Djali Zwan and totally forgotten about the True Poets of Zwan. He fired the wrong gun fist. Definitely. I really love Mary Star of the Sea, but to me, it was really obvious that if that was going to be the bands first mjor release, they wouldn't last long. Plus, like Billy said, this was a band of people with successful careers in their past. They had numerous options and chose Zwan. Each of the Pumpkins had no other options. That is what made them what they were. Needless to say, I'm pretty sad about this. The solo album will suck, though. Either he's going to get shot in the back while walking home from the recording studio, or he's going to have his only hit song covered by the Ataris. guz 09-15-2003, 11:25 AM Originally posted by ****** or he's going to have his only hit song covered by the Ataris. dammit, i just wanted to hear a studio shining path. :( Elvis The Fat Years 09-15-2003, 11:28 AM looks like macphisto will have to get a real job now. It's kind of funny if you think about it. keebs 09-15-2003, 05:47 PM i liked live zwan/ djali zwan quite a bit, but i enjoy papa m much more. hopefully, this will give pajo more time to write, tour, etc... pumpkinxyu 09-15-2003, 06:40 PM Originally posted by Dead They were best at their second show. i didn't see the second show, but if we're counting the glass house as the first show, i can assure you that it wasn't their best. my personal favorite was show #39 at Metro (1/19/2003). i'm sad to see them break up. there was a lot of potential for other incarnations, and i really grew to like the non-Pumpkin members. i'm eager to see what Billy and Jimmy do in terms of solo careers (and i hope that Jimmy will take care of solo Billy's drumming needs...who the fuck else could possibly fill in that gap?). i'm also interested to see where Papa M goes now that it's more than just Pajo's solo project. and i hope Sweeney doesn't have to start managing Andrew WK again. i wonder if Billy will make Matt pay him back now Zwan's over. either way, thanks Zwan. it was fun.
