Boycott Graceland 09-08-2003, 06:47 AM that vh1 special on him really made me feel sympathetic for him. strange_one 09-08-2003, 09:33 AM just two days ago I was reading an article and wondered how long it would be till he died pale blue eyes 09-08-2003, 09:46 AM Where did you read that he died? pale blue eyes 09-08-2003, 10:21 AM Nevermind, it just came up on Yahoo news. I don't have any of his albums but when he subbed for Paul Schaeffer as bandleader on David Letterman I learned to at least appreciate him. I have been a fan for a long time because my father was really into him so I have known his music for a while. Egadsman 09-10-2003, 01:04 AM It's amazing to see all the people who were closet Zevon fans come out of the wood work. It would have been nice to see those people buy his albums when he wasn't dying. He was an incredible lyricist. One of the few that was completely sincere no matter if he was singing about love lossed or herion junkies shooting up next to the Pioneer Chicken stand. Damn, I'm going to miss him. Now, maybe, they'll rerelease his out of print albums so I can complete my WZ discography. ...oh, yeah, I'm back....my computer blew up, so I got a new one. ---->Jeff Compton guz 09-10-2003, 01:06 AM Originally posted by Phreak Yeah, I actually thought he must have died before and I just missed it.
