You forget the beginning. It's

"Eleanor,"

Between the female name and "she," I think the chance of it being about Jimmy is slight.

I didn't forget about that. How many of Billy's songs are directly literal or whatever I'm trying to get at (can't think of the right words). Most are the metaphorically obscure type of thing. You know what I'm sayin, G? Sigh, words fail me.

EDIT: This post also applies to the cocaine thing.

but it was written after Darcy left, not Jimmy.

I can see the Jimmy connection. I had always kinda thought that the song was about D'arcy though. But I don't know if it was written before or after she left the band. If it was before she left, then it doesn't really make sense...but the female references in the song, as well as the cocaine, would vibe more with her than Jimmy I'd think.

The song "Shame" on the other hand would be my pick for the song that most directly deals with the Jimmy situation. Just my take on it though.

Just because he says "She" doesn't mean it couldn't be about Jimmy. Billy's never been Captain Literal with his lyrics. And isn't Shame the song thats about Micheal Hutchence?

it's about the band right?

it is all about the change from the direction of adore to the direction back to ROCK in Machina

*shrug*

the vainity is the band, and it tears of avalon is the tears of the early show and how sicken the band is with how it changed so much, Vainity is naked cause it is open to be attacked. It is turning around from Adore back to the days of ROCK! The crys of WHY is because they don't understand why they failed. The band must die.

This is just a buch of junk I made up right now
