ever get the impression he makes up the words as he goes. anyone can write dashboard "heart on your sleeve" confessional lyrics. it i sall the same damn song.

i haven't heard the new album, but the single certainly follows the pattern.

i heard their new single and didn't quit like it.

i'm sure my brother is pleased as punch, though.

the new dashboard album is pretty good, but the poster that comes with it is pretty crappy. Ever since he started getting so much play from MTV his posters just seem to have his stupid face close up. Also what's up with the fact that the single is actually almost 2 years old now. Seeing as he has taken a year and a half to do this new album I was hoping there would be more depth to it than his other ones, but that obviously isn't the case.

If he wanted to make music with a band he should have just stayed with further seems forever, they're a lot better than dashboard.

i'm not saying it's brilliant. It's very far from some of the stuff i've bought recently and loved, but it's a good listen. i like dumb easy lyric music sometimes, and this is exactly that.
