They were commercial failures, if you care about sales figures. Adore sold only 1.2 million copies. That is a huge drop from the 7 whatever MCIS did, and the 4 something of SD. Machina only got about 500k before the sales slacked off. When you're selling more and more albums with each release, and are so committed to being the biggest band in the world, those are very dissapointing figures.

i knew that, i thought he was talking about the musical quality.
shutterbugg 08-17-2003, 04:01 AM Why does it matter how many albums are sold? People are idiots, just like you.
Crono 08-17-2003, 11:49 AM Did i say once that it mattered to me how many albums SP sold? No, I did not.
shutterbugg 08-17-2003, 12:02 PM That wasn't directed at you, but instead at the creator of the thread. If I was going to address you I would have made it more clear by quoting you or saying your name first.
Crono 08-17-2003, 12:44 PM Alright, I just assumed because of the proximity to what I was saying.
danboyc 08-19-2003, 02:24 AM Damn you people argue about stupid stuff. This thread ia about Kurt Cobain.
shutterbugg 08-19-2003, 05:23 AM Don't make me kick you off the internet.

adore sold three million
Crono 08-24-2003, 12:17 PM I was talking about initial sales figures for Adore and Machina. I didn't know the latest figures of the top of my head. That was Adore after 5 years, I'm guessing, and I'm going to stop talking now.
cap'n jazz 08-24-2003, 12:22 PM I heard that Judas 0 sold 3.6 copies. In a day! THATS RIGHT
