The only one not in that style that gets to me would be To Forgive. His drumline in that is nice and laid back and it works with the unique nature of the song. tcm 08-08-2003, 03:29 PM Originally posted by ZackZ Set the Ray to Jerry tssup. ZackZ 08-08-2003, 07:00 PM Originally posted by Ugly That one never really stuck out to me as a crazy-jimmy drumming song. Maybe you meant "Tribute to Johnny"? It's not a "crazy" fast song. It's really smooth and he just throws in little fills effortlessly and perfectly. Pretty cool jazzy drumming. Tribute to Johnny is good though too. Reyngel 08-08-2003, 07:01 PM Originally posted by NegativeSleep I can't believe nobody's mentioned TTEOR. you're all whack. the whole lot of ya. WHACK. I thought about it, but I don't think his drumming in that song is anything... extraordinary. It's good... and I think it's the best SP song ever... but I don't think the drumming is the most impressive of Jimmy's time with SP. Reyngel 08-08-2003, 07:01 PM btw, yeah, Geek USA is Jimmy's best drumming... ever. But I didn't list it cause it was already listed. Nova 08-08-2003, 09:24 PM I guess you guys forgot about Rock On? Because his drum performance kicks ass. liquid slide 08-08-2003, 10:24 PM i think bodies is awesome Diamond Dream 08-09-2003, 12:04 AM Originally posted by Nova I guess you guys forgot about Rock On? Although he may be playing some of the coolest stuff next week. :D tristessa 08-09-2003, 12:52 AM good job whoever mentioned bodies and set the ray to jerry and shame on all of you who didnt mention muzzle, snail, jellybelly and fuck you Ugly 08-09-2003, 01:23 AM Originally posted by Implosion I think the end of Mary Star of the Sea has some of his craziest fills. Anyway, fave song, once Billy named it "Iha Speed". TheYellowDart 08-09-2003, 01:57 PM As far as difficulty to play(personal experience) Geek USA, JellyBelly. Tristessa and Silverfuck are definitely some of his masterpieces. Some that are more fun to play are Muzzle, I Am One, TEG, and Fuck You(only because i can actually play those without dumbing them down a little) dishpan 08-10-2003, 09:27 AM how can only one person say snail and nobody say la dolly vita! tcm 08-12-2003, 12:16 AM Real Love. Yes, not only that, but I'm sure B0lly was the one who programmed that beat anyway. Jimmy was probably shooting up somewhere while that beat was created.
