Quite possibly one of the best songs ever.

<img src="http://forums.netphoria.org/attachment.php?s=&postid=461835">

Say hello to the rug's topography
It holds quite a lot of interest with your face down on it
Say hello to the shrinking in your head
You can't see it but you know it's there so don't neglect it

I'm taking her home with me all dressed in white
She's got everything I need pharmacy keys
She's falling hard for me I can see it in her eyes
She acts just like a nurse with all the other guys

Say hello to all the apples on the ground
They were once in your eyes but you sneezed them out while sleeping
Say hello to everything you've left behind
It's even more a part of your life now that you can't touch it

I'm taking her home with me all dressed in white
She's got everything I need some pills and a little cup
She's falling hard for me I can see it in her eyes
She acts just like a nurse with all the other guys

who a coincidence that apc covers this song as well. Did you like the song before you knew that? At lot of people seem to like chavez once they knew sweeney was in zwan, same with papa m.

Fantastic Planet was a great album Fantastic Planet IS a great album. I was kind of hoping that APC would take this song and make it their own, but they are pretty much playing it exactly as Failure did.

Mayonard's vox don't really work with this song... I think it is weird that Failure is getting so much attention now that they have been broken up for... 5 years? I guess YOTR has something to do with that. I remember waiting for the ednless delays with the first ON album and wondering if it would ever come out... And then it wasnt all that good. eh oh well. big up to mr. andrews. im going to see YOTR at Fletcher' s in Baltimore soon.

I think his voice sounds great on it...I just don't think him singing lines like "with all the other guys" works...they just sound mundane coming out of his mouth in comparison to his own lyrics.

Not that there's anything wrong with the lyrics, just in comparison.

It's definitely one of the best Failure songs.

But the line goes something like this (according to Ken Andrews):

<i>Say hello to the rug's topography</i>
