Just wondering if anyone has the scoop on where the Djali Zwan are going to set up shop to record their much anticipated album...Chicago?

After seeing the intellectual level and true understanding of Marlon Brando's posts on Netphoria, Billy's setting up a studio in Marlon's basement.

I think the real question is; are they still a band?

i would not be suprised to see a new, paz-less line-up if they are still a group.

I'm waiting for Zwan to announce Bruce Dickenson from Iron Maiden on vocals.

I personally love Paz. I like her voice much better behind Billy's than D'arcy's or even Melissa's.

The only way I can see her being out of the band is if her and Billy stopped fucking and things got wierd.

In that recent interview with DP and JC, they said that the Djali Zwan was going to place much more emphasis on both David and Paz.

Yeah, I'd be VERY surprised if they didn't have Paz. Even if you dont' like her singing, she's very versatile with her violin that she's worth keeping...ESPECIALLY for the Djali Zwan material.

There's no way they'd dump her, she going play mostly violin in Djali, I figure.

Oh, right...silly me...I totally forgot to jump on the Zwanphoria bandwagon and bash Paz's voice.

Get a fucking life.

In the lastest issue of Tape Op (www.tapeop.com), Brian Deck, recording engineer (Red Red Meat, Modest Mouse, etc), talks about his studio (Engine Studios in Chicago):

"Well, what's happening here right now is that another studio in town got both of their music studios locked out for two months straight by Billy Corgan - so we're getting all their business."

This is from the July/August issue, so I would imagine that they are recording somewhere in Chicago, probably CRC (Chicago Recording Company).
