Hi. I'm new here.
I have a question for you.
My friend has a burned SP CD, with a mix of bootlegs and rarities. Some songs are Purr Snickety, Glynis.. and others. Those are my faves though.
There's this one song on the CD, that he doesn't remember the name of. It's an instrumental song. The only clue I have of its name is that he thinks it's "named after a CD title".
He thinks it might be "Mellon Collie" or "Infinite Sadness" but isn't sure.
It's a really good song.
Any clues?

If there isn't percussion, it's called "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness," the first track on the album by the same name. If there is percussion, then it's called "Infinite Sadness," the last track on the vinyl version of the album.

Thanks. It must be Infinite Sadness.

Also, do you know where I can download it? I can't find it on Kazaa.

probably not, as its a commercial release.

I have an MP3 of it, so if you have ICQ or MSN, let me know.

I think I still have AIM on my computer somewhere too.

I would get it off of the hub... oh but wait, only rich Pumpkins fans with a high speed internet connection are allowed to download the rarer and live SP stuff these days, due to the hilariously fantastic shn-only rule. Huzzah!

As it should be. Rich people are entitled to have more then regular people. We fought the Cold War to prove that.

I have ISDN and I still use the hub. Sure downloads take a while, but it's not as if it's much effort to put a download on and after a day or so the show is done.

Daytime downloads for me are only 7kbs and at night about 14, but like I said, just put DC++ on the taskbar and forget about it, and use the internet normally.

I wish to revoke my earlier assertion that the only people who can download shns are rich people.

I'd blame the vodka, but I wasn't drinking any.

I put the FAQ back up for anyone who needs to look at it... but you don't need to "join' the hub via the website, all you have to do is download DC++ and go to tsphub.dyndns.org:1979

Um, as for the assertion that you must be rich to afford broadband, DSL and cable are $35-50 most places. With the extra phone line, I was paying about the same for 56k. But that's irrelevant anyway, because if you aren't too busy being a whiny prick, you and the other 56kers could probably find someone to B+P you something cool that you wanted.

Just as an aside, teh Ninternet costs me $10/month for up to 20 hours on my 56K. Were I to upgrade to something with a better speed, i.e. ADSL, it's AT LEAST $60. So, it's currently 6 times the price - and frankly too much.

be that as it may, I'm organising some snalies with my main homey Sev.
