It's the potential reality of a fantasy that makes it more appealing.

like, it's all good to look at porn, but personally i like the porn of strange naked ladies who look remotely like someone i know.
Celebrities, for example, i dont really use as fantasy material, cause you know you'll never get with them, ever, and if you're trying to imagine it you got to fabricate a pretty fucked up story. For me it *******s them making some trip to South Africa, so it can get pretty complicated, which kinda dillutes the whole thing.

You see, i like a fantasy to seem like an option, it just makes it so much more appealing.

For example, you can think about randomly fucking Britney Spears or something, but personally there's no appeal in whopping my cock out and shaking the thing as fast as i can while imagining pumping her through a fucking wall like the whole thing is a race or something.

Instead, people you know, have met, people you could potentially meet (i guess its relevant in an internet context, to a degree), people who you interact with, have relations with(not neccersarily relationships). Thinking about fucking them, with a detailed story that helps your mind percieve it as a potential option is so much more of a turn on. You can take it slow, pan it out, build it up. And when you're done you can sit back and say "Maybe, you never know..." with a lot more conviction then if you just pictured going at it with Kate Beckinsale (yeah, a personal favourite of mine among celebs).

is this just me...?

it only seems logical to me that people would agree...... right?

I agree, though I do think about celebrities... but I often have to spend a long time coming up with backstory to my fantasy which explains just how I got there - even though, it's not ever very feasible. However, when I'm fantasizing like that, I can go on with it for several days and improve the story in my head with each go.

I usually end up, though... by climax time, thinking of someone I know personally. It's weird.

yeah whatever

When you're running a fantasy through your mind, you have total control of what occurs. That's the crucial difference between fantasy and reality. So naturally, yes, in certain ways it is appealing. But at the same time, losing that control when you're experiencing it in reality is just as appealing.
