i thought "last instrumental" sounded like crestfallen but i might've just been imagining things...i would've liked to see crestfallen too (i would've bawled though:( )

As far as opening the show with Bodies or Geek USA ... I still think MCIS > Rocket was the best choice. It was the traditional SD-style Rocket too ...

Ya sure Soma could have been played ... but so could a lot of other songs. Maybe a couple Gish-era songs would have been nice (i.e. Crush, Tristessa). Hummer could have been played but I couldn't see Billy enjoying that song anymore. If they were gonna play some obscure they just should brought back to Pisces Iscariot tracks ... imagine if they played Soothe > Frail & Bedazzled ... that'd get the whole crowd going. Hell, even if they played Whir it would have been a crowd pleaser.

Although I (like most people) were expecting some old old shit like Jennifer Ever or Nothing & Everything.

Maybe it was symbolic, but, there were a lot of other songs they played at the show that you could have said the same thing about, yet they played them anyway.

As for Last Instrumental sounding like Crestfallen, that's what I heard from people after the show, but when I finally heard the mp3, I didn't see much of a similarity... but I liked it nonetheless.

Why did everyone want to hear soma..yeah that would have been nice..but there are so many better songs that havn't been played in a long time. Galapogos, Hummer, Whir, In the Arms of Sleep would have all been amazing.

I was surprised that they didn't play any pre-gish songs...besides teasing Spiteface.

although, as I haven't heard the entire Metro show yet.....I was at the United Center one, and I was totally expecting them to end with Silverfuck at that show, but they didn't. Although, ending with 1979 was kinda nice too. two totally different endings right there.
