Okay, there's been no news on a recording of the SP '99 show this XM channel played.
What's worse is we've apparently missed a '94 (or two) as well. I plan on getting XM radio in the next few weeks and will be happy to record, but does no one else out there have it?
If not, I'll do it. I figure they'd play only SBD or FM stuff. I'm sure we already have a good portion of what they're playing, but a '99 FM or SBD? I haven't seen one of those yet. Plus I'd die to have some of the other shows they play.
Anyone else think this is a cool idea? I do. :D
(what they really need to do is play some Mogwai... then I'd run to my saving account and do it)

I'm not entirely sure, monto. I'm fairly certain they're at least the whole concert, because they're given 3 hours to fill. If there are ads in the middle I could easily edit them out, provided they don't run over the music, which I doubt they would. Anywho, next weeks paycheck will be fat (I'm working tons this week) so with any luck I could have an XM recording rig in a week and a half.
for those of you curious about it, a typical XM radio or whatnot is $100, and monthly-service is $10. Not bad considering the flawless quality. Plus the radio is small & sexy. :D

it's actully not flawless, I've heard the sound quality if the satelitte radio services compared to MP#, XM is better than the other service but it still sounds like MP3.

I've started up a little correspondence with the chick who runs the radio. Trying to figure out how many SP shows she has. ;)
Sounds like a '94 and a '99 right now. :erm Kinda hoping for more.

Hahaha true, true.
Be kind of hard to fill up 3 hours with that though. ;) We all know we have both of those dates burned onto one CD.
Though when I talked to the chick who runs it, she commented that she wasn't aware of a '99 show. She thinks she only has a '94. Which makes me not so anxious to get the radio.

Yeah, but did you know my name was Sam?
Actually, you probably did, come to think of it. From our email correspondence earlier this year.

If I did, I didn't remember it. Sorry dude. Too many people with 5 different names on every board, can't keep track of them ALL. :p

Hahaha, that's cool. I'm not hurt. Too much. :(
There should be some rule where you have to keep the same alias on everything. Like, when the internet becomes regulated by a paramilitary force. Or something.
I reeeeeeeeally need to sleep.
