I'm not that big a fan of BWBW but I guess its what made me buy the album, because I was looking for a depressing CD and the BWBW video was pretty depressing. Plus it was a double CD which was cool. cHECK oUT mY zWAN lYRICS sITE! bILLY i lOVE yOU.

the whole depressed rock n roll alternative thing was a major turn on, also the fact that everyone was doing it made me want to do it

When I was twelve or thirteen my friend's brother dubbed Siamese Dream on tape for me and I suppose I got into them almost as a bonus of trying to make him notice. About two months later I saw them live and they were, of course, amazing. After that I was hooked.

um. someone i met on the interweb liked them, so i bought machina. this was almost two years ago.

Because b0lly came to my house and threatened to disembowel my puppy if I didn't buy all of the albums.

I saw the BWBW video when it first came out, was really confused, yet intrigued. Then I bought a bass and wanted to be D'Arcy.

i saw the ava adore video on tv when I was 13

it was the first single I ever bought, i think

the fact that they didn't "match" as a band
the funnly looking white guy
an asian guy
a blonde
and an older looking white guy

I knew 1979 and TT from the radio, I loved them. When I listened to MCIS in a store I was completely overwhelmed. Adore was released some time after I listened to MCIS, and I immediately bought it. It took me some time to get into it, but I loved it after a while and it made me buy MCIS and all the other albums as well.

BWBW was the first single I ever bought. MCIS was the first album. I was nine.

i heard drown on the radio.

I heard Disarm on the radio and liked it but never had any idea who sang it till I saw the band at Lollapalooza. So, I bought SD and PI and after a few listens, they were one of my favorite bands. 1979 sort of cemented the "absolute favorite" status.

i remember seeing and hearing 'today' and enjoying but never knowing what it was. then after MCIS came out i heard 'bwbw' and 'disarm' back to back on the radio... it all started that day. i remember it so well.

Drown 1993 I would say is when I became a real fan. I liked Rhino and all but I didn't think too much about it cause I was like 10/11 when i heard Rhino

I had MCIS and Siamese Dream since I was about 14... didn't listen to them at all. At 19 I put in Siamese Dream and was just overwhelmed by Cherub Rock. The sound of it just amazed me. That's what first got me into SP.

I remember that one of my friends had MCIS and he would always turn it up really loud on "wanna go for a ride?" in zero, I was probably 8-9. i never really liked SP till i heard disarm in 1999 or 2000.

heard "siva" and it was all over....

actually, i had seen the Today video when i was like in 6th grade or something....and then i became totaly hooked when MCIS came out

When I first heard today and saw the video I knew that this band fucking rocks.
but then when I was an angry depressed teen MCIS made me fall head over heals in love :love:
