Hey while in line at the Portland show, I met a fan who was talking about the other band Djali Zwan? Don't know much about this but he mentioned they were like all acoustic? Any demos or anything I can get? They sound very interesting.

The only thing they have available are their 4 shows from 2001...if you'd like...e-mail me at jroth793@attbi.com and I can send you copies of my shows...other than those theres nothing...no demos or anything.

the b-sides on the honestly single are billed as performed by the djalizwan. the tracks are "number of the beast" (an iron maiden cover) and "freedom ain't what it used to be." they also did the majority of the soundtrack for the independent film called spun.

they are going to be touring all this summer and plan to have an album out by early 2004.

Nevermind, my buddy just droped off a CD of demos. Pretty good stuff so far. "waaaaaasting time ime ime" this is a good song.

ok...well I IMed this kid today...and he sent me some clips...sounds pretty real to me. I went ahead and put them on my site since he doesnt know how...so here they are...

They sound legit to me, but I'm half wondering if these maybe aren't circulating demos per se. I'm guessing that the "demo_2" is titled "Love to Love" based on the lyrics. And both "Love to Love" and "Wasting Time" are listed as being on the soundtrack for Spun. With the brevity of the clips its possible that someone may have just gotten a hold of a screener for the film and ripped some of the audio thats not obscured by dialogue or the like. That said, these clips sound awesome, and I hope that they are clips of actual complete demos, so that they may see the light of day.

woah crap... that second clip sounds BADASS. Hope these start circulating sometime soon. I'm amazed by what's been popping up in the community these past couple of months.

the song with billy and linda is called "love to love" you... all that person had to do was tape the audio from Spun to get those clips... most of the songs in that movie are left to play for a few minutes.

but if they are in fact NOT from the movie... then, how exciting.
