i've waited in line for up to six hours for the pumpkins... but for zwan i'd probably wait to show up until the next day and watch the band playing on that night cuz zwan blows.

I know it's not Zwan, but for the SP Dan Diego signing, my friend and I went at like 8pm the previous night, and there were already 15 people in front of us, lol.

once at 8:15, there were two girls in front of me. there weren't more than 30 people there until like 3pm i think. I still got third row back from the front. what the crap.

another time at 930. same thing basically

then after doors opened. ended up on Pajo's side of the stage, about five rows back. go figure.

For the 12/13 grand rapids show....I guess we thought it would take a while to get to grand rapids or something...but we arrived at around noon... ended up walking around town all day, even though there is nothing to do there!

i got to 04/05/02 (columbia, mo) about an hour before. there was i'd say about 75% of the line ahead of me. i still got 3 "rows" from the front regardless.
i had forgotten my camera and wanted to go back, but i was afraid of losing my place in line. turns out i could ahve gone back to get it and still made it up front.:(

on 03/22/03 (st louis, the pageant) we got there about an hour before the show and i was in the middle of the line and was about 7-10 "rows" from the stage.
i was the last person to be able to squeeze in to the "floor". behind me was the aisle and no one could be there because it would be a fire hazard. i was literally 1 inch from the aisle. luckily the guards weren't dicks. i got to move up later, though, because i was surrounded by untr00 fans and they didn't care when i asked them if i could slip in front on them.

Actually, there is, there's just nothing anywhere near where the Intersection used to be (it has since moved downtown). I got to that show, what, 2 hours early? I was around on the other side of the building, but my standin'-spot was still just fine. Unless you're way into standing around and talking with folks for hours or you have a sort of pathological need to be in the front row, I wouldn't be particularly concerned. Show up maybe 45 minutes before doors, you'll be fine.
