they won't of course, extreme liberal Political Correctness so infiltrated the military ranks during the Clinton administration that it allowed this terrible event of the Muslim-American to grenade his own barracks.
When he cried that the U.S. was improperly invading an Arab nation to rape the woman, take the oil, etc., his superior officer should have arrested him for treason on the spot. Instead, he merely kept him off the front lines, his thought process quite probably not wanting to "offend" the Muslim's religious "point of view" and possibly face discrimination charges against him.
Thought Police? yes...Orwell was a good Communist before he woke up. Its instances like these that I hope get people to see how Marxist incrementalism works against this country.

i am not really sure. maybe to combat terrorism here we could start up those internment camps again and detain all Muslims. I'm sure John Ashcroft wouldn't have a problem with that.

if such a measure were to gaurentee the prevention of a Nuke sounding off in Chicago, I'd be for it.
My main point is the Military has no time to dilly-dally with people's personal "feelings". You have to wonder if there are other Jihad'ist in our ranks giving away strategic information with their cell phones...this guy flew off the handle, my guess he's not the only one and the others are a little better at the double-agent thing.

i agree, if he was showing anti-american sentiment during active duty he should be detained.
This was the fault of the military. if we detained all the muslims that wouldn't have prevented the oklahoma city bombing.
i shouldn't even be argueing the internment camp issue. muslims are lawyers, doctors, teachers, and businessman in this country. To lock them all up due to their religous affiliation would be truly evil and a crime against humanity.
the govt. has openly acknowledged the internment of Japanese americans during WW2 and it's implications.

How about we detain all the crazy ass idiots who are likely to throw grenades at their fellow soldiers tents. I like that idea better.

If the guy was giving off the impression that he were going to do such a thing, he should never have been allowed on the front lines. Unstable people who oppose war should not be allowed to have weapons on the front line. It's just common sense.
I don't agree with rounding up all Muslims in the military, but if one has been going around talking about how we're wrong and Allah will smite us all and shit like that, maybe they should be looked at a little bit more closely.
People don't seem to realize that the laws that the military have to abide by are pretty harsh and uncaring compared to civilian laws. If the uniform code of military justice were to pertain to civilians, people would be screaming unconstitutional in a split second. Did you know, that even for a minor defense, a lower enlisted person can be held in confinement for up to 30 days on rations of nothing but bread and water? It's never used, but the law is there, and there are many like it. And in times of war, such things are necessary, to ensure victory and also the safety of those engaged.
K, sorry for the rambling. I'm done.

Exactly. We can a should do some light profiling in the military, but as for civilians, there is no way to tell. There is such a thing as a peaceful muslim and because of that fact, ALL of them must be protected.

its a provocative question, almost rhetorical...and how does the utmost military concerns swerve to detainment camps of Muslim-American citizens. I was nowhere close to suggesting that.
the man in question is a graduate of Univ. of California at Davis...don't get me started on where he got his disposition. I'd bet you a Diezel amp I know exactly where.
so, It's the thought control. He should have been arrested on the spot for his rhetoric. That would have been the proper instinct, but the Stalinist measures the Clintons took up to influence the military from the Day 1 of their administration is something Stalin himself would have applauded and envied. Its exactly what he did.

It would be against everything America stands for to not let Muslims in the military. It just won't ever happen, ever. They might monitor the shit out of them, but they certainly aren't going to not let them join or kick them out without good reason.
