The fact that they are still calling it a "reunion" is evidence enough that Old Bill is still completely separated from reality. Any human being in their right mind would know intuitively that's just going to alienate the fan base even more.
Am I too cynical??? Is there really still hope? Anyone....prove me wrong, please. I created this thread in the hopes that someone would really give me a good reason to not be bitter about this whole thing. Please, have at it. Give me your best shot.

the chances of you being a living person that exists is so infinitesimally small that it might as well be non-existent. and yet, here you are. the chances of you living at the same time as billy corgan, james iha, et al., yet more improbable.
hopefully it's good but who cares. it's novel, something you were not guaranteed to ever see, and something that matters enough to you to make you feel something emotionally. so stop being a whiny bitch and enjoy the variety of stimuli that being alive has to offer you, including the chance to hear james iha be a smashing pumpkin again.

Not bad. Well played. Though I will say that this argument basically comes down to, "everything in existence is a miracle, therefore this album is a miracle too." Which is true enough. But by that logic a huge steaming pile of shit is wonderful special miracle too. And that's exactly what this whole reunion is turning out to be: a steaming pile of SHIT!!!!!!!!

I really have lost hope in anything billy does. I mean Ogilala - itīs the better than any album after machina 2 - as long as the production will be dirtier, more lo fi and not polished billy choirs up in the front, thereīs a chance that the album will be in the top 180 billboard in the fisrt week,
