I've noticed the same 1 bar lick showing up in a lot of Billy's solos. He usually throws it in as a lil' shred when transitioning between the hooky bits of the solo.

He does like, a quick descending run that hits the bottom note, and then he kinda does a hammer-on and slides back up to the final note. Variations of it show up all over the place, so I guess it's a muscle memory thing.
