however, i always felt like tarantino himself kind of ruined it by insisting to be the one to act it. they were originally supposed to be Mr Pink lines - Steve Buscemi would have probably done a much better job on it. but then again, that would place too much weight on a single character in what is supposed to pass as a round table discussion. but anyway i'm sure there was a better solution to be had.

I kinda like that we get to see him do it, but I completely agree that it would have been delivered more successfully by just about any of the other characters.

He wasn't using the term moon cricket to refer to a vagina. But calling a vagina a moon cricket makes more sense than what moon cricket actually refers to.
