Curious that this item suddenly was for sale for in a record store in Amsterdam. Also quite weird that someone decided to make a bootleg seven inch single, never really heard of bootleg singles (unless it was a fake version of a expensive item).

Anyone have this?

I've seen a couple of these pop up on ebay in the past few months (one of which was up for auction until last week http://www.ebay.com/itm/291472148191?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT). The other one was also from a US based seller with decent feedback IIRC. No idea where they keep coming from though.

never seen or heard of it, but spfreaks says it was released in Belgium, 1000 copies.

I think it could be the same record label as this one, bunch of demo cuts on vinyl

I believe that The Aeroplane Flies Lower was a boxset of bootleg singles. Not sure though. Maybe the CD singles themselves were official and just the box itself was not.

Gosh, I rarely go into record stores these days. When I do, I generally check out the Pumpkins section. Not sure why, though, because I think I've only felt disappointment for the last 15 years or so.

Sometimes I feel that way about Netphoria.

Of all lifeforms, it's definitely people that buy most records.

this is one of those old 7" bootlegs. they all seem to come from belgium, but i'm not sure if that's entirely accurate.

there's:
- "1989 demos" (on different colours)
- "demo cuts"
- "trick or treat?"

some people collect these and would pay a decent amount of money for it.
how much were they selling it for?

i have seen some of these in record shops over the years, but i never considered buying a copy.

It was 7 euros and I guess I consider that cheap nowadays. Yeesh.

yeah they're really taking the piss with the prices of 7" singles these days.

The price for a pressing of the smallest amount of seven inches (used to be 200, was 300 last year and is now 500) at Record Industry (Haarlem) is now so high that in order to cover costs you'd ha e to sell them at 10 euros or more. Which is ridiculous, especially if you're in an underground band. Downside of the vinyl hype.
