I actually tried to organise one where netphorians from the world over met up in Austin, Texas and were shown around the city by Trots, but they all shut that one down pretty quick.

Before the Paris show in 07 there was a ton of Netphorians:

Davin, Skadgree (sp.?), Coolasicecream, all the french netphorians, a few of the germans (memoriesunwind etc),

some met later that year in London...

Thre was a scottish netphorian meet-up as well with toyschoketoys, christhimself, glasgowkiss and myself... and another one when Smashingjj played here 2 years ago.

Probably not. Mrs Kahlo is with me, so it's Rotterdam to talk to a Gallery, Breda for a talk and exhibition of my work and Amsterdam for relaxing and hitting up museums.

i'm not sure if i can make that. it's quite a trek without a car, and i have that reunion thing in ghent the day before, which will normally end fairly late (i'll get the last train back) and be quite boozy.

it's this kind-of-yearly (it's not set in stone) mini-reunion i have with these two guys from university.
always good. it never comes with any of the bullshit that might come with bigger reunions, as it's just us.
it always takes a while to find a suitable date though, so i don't feel like i can cancel it.

i had mentioned it to alex before, which is why i referred to it as "that reunion thing".

anyway, i've met various netphorians (you know who you are) in both the EU and the UK...on at least an annual basis from 2007 thru 2011. unfortunately, my travel opportunities have been limited the last 3 years....but thats over now.

there was this one dude one here who was in s. korea when i was there. we could have met up, but never did. i forget his name now. i think he was also teaching esl.

we should have met up. we could have had soju shots in gang-nam and taken the subway drunk to the massage parlors.

on second thought, maybe not. i think he was homo. so he would have to wait outside while i was pleasured by a sex slave. then i would emerge, all hot and flustered, shamefaced and awkward, and he would give me a bored (and rather disgusted) look, and that would be that.

then we would part, go our separate ways, and never met again.

later on i would make a post, perhaps a thread, about this experience on 'phoria. people would ignore it. i would be crestfallen (no pun intended).

A year or 8 ago I went to Amsterdam to meet up with ChristHimself!, Severin, and this american guy whose name i forgot. That was the biggest Netpho meetup I ever attended. I met a lot of the Americans and Canadians visiting The Netherlands also.

Oh and when I played in Glasgow with my band we met up with ChristHimself, glasgowkiss, and thestreetsarehottonight. Good times!
