mystique's power was shapeshifting, a/k/a female manipulation

Talia al Ghul is actually a badass fighter but of course when they put her in the dark knight rises all they did was have her manipulate bruce w/ her sexuality

yeah the prevailing idiotic theory from assholes about the phoenix is that it was a metaphor for the female orgasm or something about as ridiculous. why does it need to be fitted into some kind of stupid feminist symbolism, why can't it just be a human that cannot control the power of a cosmic entity?

storm is incredible if you actually read the 70s and 80s books. she's unquestionably the leader of the team from about 1970 up to the late 80s when they brought Cyclops back to the fold. I mean you can complain all you want but having a powerful black woman as the leader of a popular superteam is pretty fucking progressive
